Why am I the only one not Sleeping!?!?!

These pictures were taken awhile ago. Kynadi made me set up her tent in her room and had to sleep in it. She made me keep it up for days! Cute. I'm not sure why I took this picture of Brooklyn, but who doesn't love looking at a sleeping baby? The last picture is John. He can be a bit of a wimp when he is sick. He didn't feel well in this picture and when I came into the room that morning he asked me, in a dying voice, if I would get him a cold rag for his forehead. LOL I love him, but I thought it was so funny(I'm still laughing thinking about it)...the drama!

"My Favorite Mom"

Last night I let Kynadi sleep in my bed with me. As we were getting cozy in the blankets she turned and said, "You are my favorite Mom!". She had the biggest smile on her face and contrary to what some may think...she said it with conviction. Now I know she may not have said it, had she had any other "mom" to compare with, but I'll take the compliment none the less. It was so cute, it made my night!! Guess I'll have to let her stay up late and watch American Idol with me more often!

Brooklyn's first word!?!?!

Well, Brooklyn sure is growing up fast. She's standing on her own now, and today she may have said her first word. I was over at my parents house and Kynadi and I were talking to my Dad on the intercom to his garage. Kynadi kept saying "Grampa" and little Brooklyn piped in too. I didn't here it, but my mom (who was holding Brooklyn) said she said, "grampa". What!?!?! I thought mom was supposed to be the first word. We tried to get her to say it again...I could hear the "pa" part but that was it. I may be in denial a bit longer until I hear it all clearly for myself!! :)

Well, you can see Brooklyn's personality coming out more and more. John thinks she's going to have a pretty good sense of humor. I think he's right. I dont' know how to explain it, she just seems like a little trickster! She's a happy little girl. But she still has her scream. I'm not sure when that goes away, but it won't be a sad day, that's for sure.
