Roller Skating

A few weeks ago we took the kids (Kelsey, Kynadi, Corbyn & Landen) skating on Friday night at the Rec. We used to do this when I was in elementary school so it was kind of weird going again as an adult.
Surprisingly for how young the kids are they did really well. Kynadi wanted to grab on to me the whole time, but she was having fun. Poor Brooklyn got stuck with Dad again, but at least they were on the sidelines to watch.
Here's a video of the fun too.

The Circus was in town..

The circus came to town so Brynn, Grandpa, and I took Corbyn, Landen, and Kynadi. Poor Brooklyn got left behind to take a nap with Daddy. Anyway, it was definately not the Ringling Bros. circus, but it was still fun. The only animals they had were some dancing poodles and the elephants. The elephants were the biggest hit. During "half time" we even got a chance to ride one. Landen was a bit scared and he stayed with Brynn to take the pictures (she should never go into photography, as you can see), but Corbyn, Kynadi, Grandpa, and I all rode. I thought Kynadi would be afraid but she loved it. The whole time I thought she'd want to sit right by me and cry or something, but she sat right with Grandpa and had a good time. When she got off in fact, she asked if we could go again. So here are a few pics of the event. The ones of Kynadi and I in the truck (see what a beauty it is...if only you could see the outside too) are on our way to the circus. I took a picture of her so then, of course, she wanted to take one of me...what a good practice while driving.

Sweet sayings

Yesterday Kynadi and I were driving in our truck (what a truck it is too). Anyway, she was telling me how when we get home I'm going to get on the floor and she was going to run and give me a "great big hug" and then I would fall over. Then she completed her whole plan by telling me she was going to do this, "because I Love you" OH.. my heart melted. It was just out of no where. What a cutie she is, especially since I've been a grouch to her the last couple weeks getting ready for our garage sell (if anyone is thinking of having one...it's not worth the time!), and my craft booth at Flaming Gorge days. So it just made my day and realize how much kids can teach us. I love my little Kynadi!!!

Sweet Little Bean

This is a boring post -- yes I know BRYNN!! But this is just so I have my little memories of my little ones.

So the other day, I was having Kynadi get ready for bed. I don't remember what I was doing, but I was trying to keep her occupied. She wanted to sleep in my bed, and since John was working a graveyard again, I told her she could. I told her to go in and get her pillow and blanket all ready. She did this and I was still wanting to buy some time, so I told her to go get my jammies and lay them out on my bed. Shortly after all her instructions I went into my room with her. I found my pajama pants laid out perfectly on my bed with a shirt lying perfectly above them, just as I should wear them. It reminded me of how I used to lay out all my new school clothes to see my new outfits. I should have taken a picture -- for a two year old it was great! The best was then she explained to me why she had picked the ones she had. She said, "those are your new jammy pants that don't have holes in them" (all of my pajama pants have holes -- but sure enough these were still fairly new and didn't) and then addressing the shirt she said, "see mommy, I got that one because you like it". It actually is a shirt I like to wear to bed. It was so cute just to see how much thought she had put into it. She was so excited too. What a precious little girl I have!
