Alright, I don't know what everyone is watching out there, but obviously not the best shows on television, since they are all being cancelled. The past few weeks in "TV Land" have been very disturbing to me.
It all started with Prison Break. I know, I know, there is a lot of violence, but I have been addicted to this show for the last 4 years. Now Michael Scofield is dead and the show is over. WHAT?!?!?!? Not only am I disturbed that the series is over, but I felt like Michael was a part of my life. Oh the mourning. I even got the name of my son from this show. Lincoln is Michael's brother, and I have loved the name since first hearing it on the show. Strangely in fact, Lincoln's son is named L.J. My Linken is Linken John...maybe he could be L.J. too. Anyway, I'm sidetracking.
Next on my complaints....I just learned today that the show Life is being cancelled. NBC must be crazy. This is one of the best shows I've seen on TV EVER. Have you ever watched this show? Charlie Crews is great. His zen comments alone would keep me watching for years. I'll buy some fruit and mourn this one as well (you'd understand if you watched). My only prayer is that the rumors that USA will pick up the show are true.
Moving on. American Idol lost Danny. He would have won tonight had America voted correctly. C'mon why didn't you vote for Danny!?!?! Too late now.
24...now this one is debatable. Jack can't die or I'm done with TV for good. How could 24 go on without Jack? I really don't believe this will happen, but the way things are going in other series Kiefer Sutheland better start looking for work.
House is giving me some hope. House in a psych hospital could make for some good TV, that's still to be seen though.
Now to help the ratings here are a few shows that I still have hope for, so start WATCHING, what else do you have to do? "Lie to Me", "Flashpoint", and "Numbers". I really think that's all that's left. Please help these stay on, so I have something decent to watch online when I'm up with my children in the middle of the night.
